Sue Freedman, Ph.D. "Consulting with Client Project Teams...Thrill of Victory or Agony of Defeat?" Insights into how independent or internal management consultants can increase their effectiveness when working with client project teams. The ideas presented also apply to virtual consulting teams created to handle complex client engagements where two or more consultants collaborate to provide an overall solution to the client’s needs. Fred Asher, Ph.D. of Aprendia, Phyllis Kramer of Knowledge Work Associates, and Hugh Wilson of HumCap will also share tools and techniques for complex situations.

About the speaker:
Dr. Sue Freedman, our speaker, is a co-author of “Beyond Teams: Building the Collaboration Organization,” (Jossey Bass 2003). Sue teaches in the MBA and Project Management Executive Program at UT-Dallas. She is a principal with Knowledge Work Associates, and specializes in the design and management of new product development organizations. She helps create links between new ideas, new products, and new ways of improving team performance. Sue spent 12 years with Texas Instruments solving organizational development issues. She holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Personnel Development from Florida State University.
