Michael Egan "THE OFFICE OF THE FUTURE – new technologies that will influence tomorrow’s business landscape.” Highlighting emerging technology, but focusing on products now entering the market, this presentation will provide an entertaining overview of technologies that will impact the office environment in the near term -- say 2-5 years out. The presentation will showcase new products and new technologies based on wireless networking, the convergence of voice-data-and images, voice activation, biometrics, security, etc.

About the speaker:
Dr. Michael E. Egan, our speaker, has been involved in bringing technology from the concept stage to the real product stage for over twenty years. He has served on the faculties of The University of Texas at Austin, Princeton University and Lawrence University and has authored numerous scientific articles and a textbook. These academic roots provided a solid foundation for his business career, which began with the commercial introduction of MRI. His experience includes launching and establishing new markets for businesses and products in many market sectors and several industries. Dr. Egan is a frequent speaker to a variety of organization about technology and is currently a marketing consultant with The Dallas Marketing Group and an officer of the Dallas Fort Worth Chapter.
