UNDERSTANDING THE CODE OF ETHICS

Workshop Focus
Learn from experts, stay current, exchange ideas, and share your expertise. Ethical issues can become the fastest way to lose a client - or your best opportunity to win them for life! The IMC's Code of Ethics (COE) is designed to enhance the day-to-day success of your consulting practice. Consistently demonstrating high standards promotes your consulting business and is a critical requirement for attaining Certified Management Consultant registration.

This month’s workshop discusses critical ethical challenges and reveals how a better understanding of the COE can help you expand your practice:

  • Identify ethical issues before they bite you
  • Apply the COE to address real-world ethical dilemmas
  • Leverage the COE to build client loyalty

Workshop Facilitator
Steve Maffei
is a Director and Ethics Advisor for the IMC’s DFW chapter and a member of the IMC USA Ethics Committee. He is a co-founder of Integrated Elements in Dallas, a consulting practice dedicated to helping companies to strengthen employee engagement and retention. Prior to this, Steve spent twenty-one years in the automotive financial services industry, where he held a broad array of leadership roles in diverse areas such as Information Technology, Organizational Effectiveness, Six Sigma and Quality, Operations, and Risk Management.
